Privacy notice

The controller for personal data processed on LiveProtest.com is EU DECID S.R.L. (CUI 51864362), Hunedoara, Romania. You can reach us through the contact form (choose “Privacy / data request”).

What we process

• Visiting the site: no accounts, no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics are used. The map is drawn from data hosted with the site; no third-party map tiles or font services are loaded. Our hosting provider processes technical request data (such as IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message, used only to answer you (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Messages are kept for at most 12 months and then deleted automatically. Your IP address is not stored; a salted one-way hash is kept for rate limiting. If email notification is enabled, messages are forwarded to our inbox through an email delivery provider.
• Correction reports: the issue you describe and an optional contact address, used to review the report.
• People in the news: we publish locations at city level only and avoid identifying individual participants. Organisers are named only when they are organisations or public figures named in published reporting.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing, through the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP) or the authority in your country.
